I'm obsessed with houses and looking at house plans and house listings online. I too, like Susan, used to design houses out of legos and wanted a mansion, but do not anymore! My boyfriend and I enjoy looking at houses, but are still too chicken to go to an open house. He's 21 and I am just about to turn 21, but we look even younger. Most people don't believe I'm any older than 15, so we get treated much younger than we actually are. I'm scared someone will be upset with me or tell us to leave, even though I doubt that would ever happen. Hopefully, after reading this post, I will be able to work up the courage to go looking at open houses. Thank you! I’m glad I’m not the only one who wants to do this! Our here we've spent a lot of time looking at show homes, rather than open houses. It's the same sort of idea except that instead of a realtor greeting you, it's a sales agent who walks you through the house, design, etc. and they houses are dressed to sell! We've had tons of fun doing this, around our neighbourhood and at times it was necessary since we were looking at purchasing! We really love going into the houses that are $ 800,000 and unaffordable at this time but acting like we're interested (oh, cause we are) and can afford it (but oh, we can not) :) Great idea.
