Our favourite Valentine’s are always spent in, relaxing together. Last year, we got a bunch of junk food and snuggled on the couch while watching the NBA All-Star game. Now that’s love :)

best Valentine’s ever – my wife is a video game addict (had played wii with our nephew’s wii at Christmas endlessly) so two years ago I told her I’d do everything for Val Day but she had to trust me. so I took all the money we’d blow on dinner and movies and flowers and bought a used wii off of craigslist. we stayed home and played wii all night. it was so much fun and she loved it!

When I was in college I wrote on my whiteboard “Scott would like to apologize to all the ladies out there; he will not be your Valentine.” I got maybe 11 calls that night from girls (and one of their brothers) asking me to be their Valentine. I’m grinning just thinking about it.

My worst Valentine’s Day memory was the year my partner was away on business on Valentine’s Day. He had planned to send my gift to work, until I called to tell him my grandfather had passed away! It was a sad holiday for me!

For our first v-day together (14 years ago) hubby bought me a cookie bouquet & took me to dinner at the 360 resto at the top of the CN Tower in Toronto. I was 20 at the time & had never been to anything that fancy on a date before!

One of my best is when my mom went out of town for it but left me a surprise. She had written in a card for me and left a few bars of chocolate. It was sweet and unexpected.
